About Us

Our images have been featured in Conde Nast Brides magazine, Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, Over the Moon, Utah Bride and Groom, Utah Valley Bride, Rocky Mountain Bride, and June Bug Weddings, among others.

We are documentary wedding photographers who work in both film and digital formats. Based in Southern Utah and available to travel to destinations worldwide.

Hi! We are McKenzi and Joey Dye— married photographers and artists based in Southern Utah. We’ve had the pleasure of documenting weddings together for the last 12 years and are honored to share in your joy and love as we connect with you and work to tell your story. We're inspired by the natural and raw moments of life and seek to interweave stories of our couples within the wild desert landscape. We want to capture the way your day felt, not just what it looked it. It's all about the moments for us.

When we’re not photographing weddings, you can find us teaching the next generation of photographers at Utah Tech University where McKenzi teaches both digital and film photography classes full time and Joey teaches film photography part time. McKenzi has an MFA in Photography and has a dedicated fine art practice. You may come across her work in a gallery exhibition or published in a photo book. We are very serious about our craft but are also always working to keep things fresh, exciting and new!

We also love enjoying time with our twin daughters, who are starting their first year of college, and the world’s tiniest adventure dog, Albus along with our two cats, Mac and Luna.
