Park City First Look at St. Regis Deer Valley

One of the great things about taking your formal portraits before the wedding day is that you get to go somewhere really beautiful and amazing like this spot! And it made the wedding day run so smoothly because we had already taken beautiful portraits beforehand so they could spend all that extra time with their family and friends at the wedding. Joey and I had so much fun hanging out with Ashleigh and Erik during their bridal session in Park City. We got rained on a little bit during the shoot, but these two were such good sports about it and we got some insanely beautiful light– and a gorgeous rainbow at the end! It also helped that we picked an awesome location where we could seek shelter from the rain and have a champagne toast. This shoot is definitely a favorite. It’s romantic, classy, and full of candid moments and love. All the best things.

Summer Bridal Session in Pine Valley

We started CJ and Sabrina’s bridal session at the St. George LDS Temple and then headed up to Pine Valley. It was the day before Pine Valley closed because of the wildfire, so we really lucked out that we were able to still shoot there! It also made for some gorgeous warm light. I loved working with these two! They are so much fun to be around. I will share the beautiful photos from their wedding in Pine Valley next!

ROMANTIC SPRING ENGAGEMENTS IN ZION NATIONAL PARK

I was thrilled to get to work with Devin and Ashley for their engagements, bridals, and wedding day last spring. They are the sweetest couple, completely beautiful, and have the best chemistry. I mean, it’s pretty obvious from the photos that they’re crazy about each other, right? Zion National Park is such a gorgeous setting any time of year and we were able to get some beautiful shots with the first signs of greenery. We started out at Grafton Bridge in Rockville and then ventured into Zion. I will never tire of shooting at this place. It’s simply the best. Thanks for adventuring with me, Devin and Ashley! I’ll be sharing their bridals and wedding day here on the blog soon too.

Sunset Couple's Session in Bryce Canyon

When Andy contacted me about taking some photos of him and his lovely girlfriend Vera during their trip to Bryce Canyon, I was thrilled! Andy is the genius behind San Diego Date Ideas and planned this whole surprise trip for his lady– just because! I thought was a darling idea and perfect timing because Joey and I were already planning a camping trip to Bryce the same weekend. So we met up for little photo sesh at sunset and it was just perfect! Vera is a photographer herself so she was so excited to be in front of the camera for once. We had a great time adventuring around Sunset Point in Bryce Canyon with these two. You really can’t beat this view! Photos are a mix of film and digital too. PINE VALLEY MOUNTAIN BRIDALS

Throwing it back to this beautiful spring day when we ventured up to Pine Valley for Scarlett and Tanner’s bridal session. It was crazy windy in St. George but when we got to our location, nestled in the pine trees, it was absolutely perfect and peaceful. This was right around the time when I started shooting medium format film so I shot just 1 roll and fell in love. I loved working with these two throughout the whole process of their wedding. I always recommend that people book engagements, bridals and wedding day with me, not only so you’ll have more beautiful photos, but so we can have that time to develop a good relationship! Scarlett and Tanner are a gorgeous couple, so in love and sweet together, and just the kindest people all around. I think you can tell from their photos too. Hope you love them!
